BRIGHTWOOD CABIN DIRECTIONS FROM THE CONFEDERATION BRIDGE:

1. When leaving the bridge, follow the signs to Charlottetown (approximately 45 km). This will be Hwy 1. 2. When coming into Charlottetown, the road will become a 4 lane road at the town of North River. You will then pass a small outlet mall on your left. Stay in the center lane up the hill after the outlet stores and turn left at the lights at the top of the hill. This will take you on the Hwy 1 bypass going around Charlottetown. 3. You can choose to stay on Hwy 1 through the city, but traffic in the summer can be quite busy downtown. 4. Once you get to the other side of the city, you will cross a bridge over the Hillsborough river. You will still be on Hwy 1. 5. After crossing the bridge, continue for an additional 12 km and then turn left on Hwy 5 (there will be an "Irving" gas station on the right just before you turn left on Hwy 5). 6. Follow Hwy 5 (which is also named the 48 road) for 7 km. 7. You will then come to a stop sign. Turn right and then left in about 400 meters. 8. You will still be on Hwy 5. Continue on Hwy 5 for and additional 4 km where you will reach another stop sign (Avondale). 9. Turn left here onto Hwy 216, go 1.2 km and turn right at the sign, onto a gravel road for approximately 1 km. The road will take you down into the woods by the lake. 10. When the road turns to the left, the cabin will be on the right about 200 meters down this road.

BRIGHTWOOD CABIN DIRECTIONS FROM THE CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT:

1. When leaving the airport turn left at the stop sign (Brackley Point Road) 2. Go 1 km and turn left at the first stop sign on Hwy 1. 3. Follow Hwy 1 for 5 km and turn left over the bridge (you will still be on Hwy 1). 4. After crossing the bridge, continue for an additional 12 km and then turn left on Hwy 5 (there will be an "Irving" gas station on the right just before you turn left on Hwy 5). 5. Follow Hwy 5 (which is also named the 48 road) for 7 km. 6. You will then come to a stop sign. Turn right and then left in about 400 meters. 7. You will still be on Hwy 5. BRIGHTWOOD CABIN DIRECTIONS FROM THE WOOD ISLANDS FERRY:

1. When leaving the ferry, take Hwy 1 towards Charlottetown. 2. Follow Hwy 1 for 42 km. and then turn right on Hwy 3 (sign will say to Montague and Georgetown). 3. Follow Hwy 3 for 7 km and turn left on Hwy 216 (sign will say to Hermitage and Avondale). 4. Go 5.5 km on 216. You will pass Avondale golf course after about 3 km (on your right) and cross Hwy 5 after about 4.5 km. 5. Turn right at the sign, onto a gravel road for approximately 1 km. The road will take you down into the woods by the lake. 6. When the road turns to the left, the cabin will be on the right about 200 meters down this road.
